Behind Every ForzaCare Case Manager Is a Commitment to Their Success

Thought Leadership
After an appointment, an injured worker may have questions, a claims adjuster may need a clearer picture of the treatment plan, and an employer may need help understanding how work restrictions apply to the job. A well-prepared and supported case manager connects those conversations, builds shared understanding, and helps everyone move forward with confidence.
That work draws on clinical knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to build trust. It also deserves thoughtful preparation and continued support.
During National Case Management Week, we celebrate the people who bring those qualities to injured workers and claims teams every day. It is also an opportunity to share how ForzaCare invests in their development, from onboarding through experienced practice.

Support That Grows With Experience

Every case manager brings a different background. Someone with years of workers’ compensation experience may need a different level of guidance than a nurse entering case management for the first time. ForzaCare uses a four-level readiness model to provide the right support at each case manager’s stage of development. In the early stages, that support includes close guidance, report review, and billing audits. As case managers demonstrate greater confidence and competency, it evolves into structured check-ins, coaching and quality sampling.
Experienced team members continue to receive feedback and may contribute through mentorship and training. Progress reflects demonstrated readiness and individual development needs. This approach gives case managers room to grow while keeping clinical and operational support available throughout their development. For clients, it means the professional handling a case is backed by a team that promotes sound decisions, clear communication, and consistent service.

Quality Review Throughout the Journey

Ongoing review helps ForzaCare support consistent practice and identify opportunities for continued growth. Managers review files, monitor cases that have remained open, and use sampling to assess the quality of work. As a case manager gains experience and demonstrates strong performance, the level of review evolves while meaningful oversight remains in place at every readiness level.
Our quality assurance process also includes management review of every closure report and additional clinical review of catastrophic reports. These reviews create opportunities to identify questions, reinforce expectations, and provide useful feedback.
For case managers, that feedback builds confidence, strengthens judgment, and supports continued career development. For claims teams, it promotes easy-to-follow documentation, timely communication, and consistent reporting throughout an assignment, helping everyone make informed decisions in support of the injured worker.

Investing in the People Who Support Recovery

ForzaCare directly employs, trains, and supervises its case managers. That direct relationship connects professional development, daily guidance, and quality expectations within one organization.
It also reflects a simple belief: people doing demanding, deeply personal work deserve meaningful support of their own. When a case manager helps an injured worker navigate uncertainty, that case manager should know a trusted colleague or leader is available to talk through a difficult question, review a concern, and help determine the next step.
This National Case Management Week, we thank our case managers for the care, expertise, and commitment they bring to their work. By investing in their growth throughout the year, ForzaCare helps them build rewarding careers while strengthening the service, communication, and support received by injured workers, employers, and claims professionals.
